EVEGENE Academic Club is a forward-thinking educational hub focused on Mathematics & English only . Built on the M-learning model, giving learners access to lessons anytime and anywhere with a mobile device and internet. We offer online and in-person tutoring, both one-on-one and group sessions, with a strong focus on exam coaching. Learners can choose on-demand sessions for immediate support or monthly plans for steady progress.
Our mission is to nurture a community of learners who pursue excellence with resilience, embrace education as a lifelong journey, and reflect integrity in all aspects of life. Rooted in faith, inspired by nature’s wisdom, and shaped by daily growth, we strive to illuminate minds, strengthen character, and empower each student to flourish—academically, socially, and personally.
Grounded in African values like Ubuntu and committed to inclusivity, we create a respectful, collaborative space where every learner is seen, supported, and celebrated. By integrating both Indigenous and global knowledge, and working alongside families, communities, and educators, we aim to break down barriers to learning and prepare students to lead with confidence, compassion, and purpose in a diverse world.
To cultivate a community of pupils who pursue excellence with endurance, embrace education as a lifelong journey, and embody virtue in all they do. Rooted in faith in God, inspired by the wisdom of nature, and grounded in the everyday moments of growth, we aim to enlighten minds, uplift character, and empower students to thrive academically and personally—today and for a lifetime.
Adolescents are constantly asking, “Who am I?” We support learners as they navigate this vital stage. Grounded in collectivist African philosophy, we encourage identity development not in isolation but through community and connection.
We help learners explore:
How they see themselves vs. how society sees them.
The balance between autonomy and cultural belonging.
Confidence to define their purpose—without losing their roots.
“A person is a person through others.” — Ubuntu Philosophy
Emotional growth is just as important as academic success. Many students face silent struggles: stress, anxiety, frustration, and low self-esteem. We are here to help.
We teach learners:
To recognize and name their emotions.
To develop emotional regulation strategies like breathing, reflection, and journaling.
To build resilience and bounce back from setbacks.
We draw from proven models such as:
Goleman’s EQ Skills: Self-awareness, self-management, social awareness.
Bar-On’s 15 Competencies: From empathy to problem-solving.
Salovey & Mayer’s EI Theory: Using emotion to make sound decisions.
Our tutors are trained to be emotionally aware mentors—not just academic coaches.
Today’s learners are thinkers. They question, analyse, and form their own moral frameworks. We believe in guiding—not controlling—their development.
From an African spiritual lens, we embrace both the visible and invisible elements of the learner. We teach:
Respect, patience, and perseverance.
Holistic values rooted in community and responsibility.
The power of lived experience, storytelling, and reflection.
Our tutors don’t just correct mistakes—they model character, integrity, and wisdom.
Life isn’t always fair, and many learners face:
Low self-esteem
Family breakdowns
Peer pressure
Technology dependency
Mental health challenges
We work to identify risk factors early and build protective systems through:
Safe spaces for sharing
Collaboration with families and schools
Encouragement and consistent mentorship
Affirming cultural identity and personal strengths
Resilience isn’t about avoiding the storm—it’s learning how to dance in the rain.
Our tutoring sessions are more than lessons—they’re transformative spaces where learners:
Ask questions without fear
Share openly and honestly
See themselves reflected in the material
Receive support that affirms who they are
Whether it’s a struggling math student, a teen exploring their identity, or a quiet child needing emotional support—we’re here for them.
